One of my professors told me recently “You aren’t in the drivers or passengers seat when you write a story. The characters are in the drivers seat and they’ve locked you in the trunk” and I mean he’s not wrong.

Some of you are reading this like you’re supposed to get out of the trunk. No. Frankly, the characters know better than you most of the time.

Would you mind giving more info on like, B12? I recently found out I have issues and have to get regular shots for it. I dont know specifically what's causing it yet, but I thought my diet was okay? Do you have recommendations for food and stuff?

Ugh I’m sorry you’re dealing with this too 😩 I’ve had low B12 for years and my doctors are routinely confused because I’m not a vegetarian. According to them my diet is okay as well, so one theory is that my body doesn’t absorb it well? (Which I guess could be related to an autoimmune issue but it’s still a mystery.) My doctor mentioned B12 shots for the first time so I think I might end up going that route as well. I hope it’s helping you!!

In the meantime my doctor encouraged me to eat more eggs, meat, add nutritional yeast to my food, and take a daily B12 vitamin (the same advice I always get.) I truly don’t think I could eat more eggs if I tried, but I’ll start adding nutritional yeast to them again. And tonight I had popcorn with nutritional yeast on top which was yummy. You can basically put that stuff on anything that would taste good with cheese added on top (pasta, eggs, potatoes, sandwiches, etc.)
